Mathias SCHARLÉ was born in Schieren in 1850. His father was a Bäcker but Mathias learned the trade of Klempner, Blechschmied.
In 1880 he married Catherine NEUENS of Junglinster, where he resided at the time. The couple moved to Pettingen/Mersch around 1882.
SCHARLÉ died in Mersch in 1910.
